Joint Articulation

Neural Mobilization

Gentle, relaxing motions of the arm, leg or spine to free the nervous tissue from surrounding structures, which allows the nerve to move and function correctly.

Therapeutic Massage

Manual massage of soft body tissues (muscles, fascia, tendons, ligament, scars) to improve the health of these tissues by increasing blood flow, freeing up restrictions, alleviating cramps and improving alignment.

Functional Dry Needling

Small, thin acupuncture needles are used to relieve muscle cramps, increase blood flow and activate muscles that aren’t performing.

Therapeutic Neuroscience Education

A learning system that will give you a complete understanding of what pain is and what you can do about it.

Posture and Gait Analysis

In-depth analysis of the way your muscles and joints contribute to how you stand and walk. Correct posture and gait can alleviate pain that has been present for years.

Core Stabilization

Specific exercises that maintain optimal alignment of the spine during movement.

Cardiovascular and Aerobic Conditioning

Exercise that raises the heart rate has been shown in many studies to increase energy, and relieve nerve pain. Dr Aronow will help you find a pain-free way to exercise.

Work Conditioning

Specific exercises based on your job duties, to get you back to work safely, without fear of injury and with minimal pain.

Creation of a personalized yoga program just for you, being mindful of your physical condition. This also includes teaching you how to modify a group class so you can go to your local studio safely.

Preoperative Education

Gain a realistic expectation of your surgical outcome as regards pain and function with one 30-minute session. You will learn what to expect for pain after surgery, how to manage your pain after surgery and when you will get back to your usual activities.

Associative Awareness Technique

A means of addressing pain related to psychological stress and trauma through physical relaxation and mindfulness.

“You are a no-nonsense, friendly helper. I walked out of the session feeling good about my physical prospects. You are very good at your job.”  Cameron W, age 64

What is Pain?

Pain is our body’s living alarm system. It tells us when something dangerous is happening in our body or in the environment, so we can take action to stay safe.

What is Health?

Health is a resource for living, not the object of living. A healthy person can perform everyday activities and be involved in the community the way he or she would like.

What is Vitality?

Vitality is the energetic power to live and be successful
